Who is "Strike The Box"?
I am a local Firefighter who lives and serves in Manatee County Florida.
I began creating designs years ago using Photoshop. I realized, the
screen printers whom I was taking my artwork to, could not match the
quality I was looking for. So I started screen printing my own shirts.
After many months of learning the craft out of my own garage, I became
better and better at it. I started screen printing as a hobby, but
quickly realized that there was a need for quality screen printing in
this area that wouldn't break the bank . I am not one of those large
screen printing companies that has guy's making $6.50 an hour creating
your shirts. At Strike The Box the job begins with me and ends
with me. I also create custom graphics and designs that small
businesses can afford.
What does "Strike The Box" mean?
Strike The Box is a term commonly used in the fire service.
In the early years, fire stations had a bell or "box" on the
wall which they would strike when a call would come in. Today
some fire departments still use the phrase when alerting
their dispatch center to send another alarm of fire trucks
or "
Strike The Box".
